Biochemica® Orange Butter consists of orange peel oil in sweet almond oil structured with hydrogenated vegetable oil. Orange peel oil is obtained by cold pressing of the orange peel, followed by a full refining process. The natural oil contains limonene, a very effective free radical scavenger. This oil has a cleansing and toning effect on skin that can address oily skin and acne problems.
In cosmetic preparations, Biochemica® Orange Butter provides a clean and refreshing scent and exhibits excellent spreadability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or as a carrier for treatment products. It adds moisturizing attributes to creams, lotions and bar soaps and may be used in cosmetics, toiletries, soaps, massage oils and balms, hair care and sun care preparations. Its suggested use level is from 3% to 100% pure (as a butter-like balm).
