Valio is the largest food company in Finland, made up of 15 co-operatives and encompassing 5,100 dairy farms. Specializing in dairy products, Valio's products include cheese, powdered ingredients, butter, yogurt, and milk. In 2001, Valio launched the world’s first totally lactose free products, and global demand for lactose free products has increased significantly since then.

Valio has the broadest assortment of lactose free milk powders, offering milk taste and nutritional properties to aid in the production of low/no/reduced lactose products. Furthermore, the milk from which the powders are sourced is amongst the cleanest in the world, with no trace antibiotics.
