Revolutionary plant-based moisturizers that bring innovation for a sustainable future
The BioEstolide™ line is composed of moisturizers made from natural ingredients with strong oxidative stability. Derived from organic fatty acids found in many bio-derived oil products, estolides are highly stable products. BioEstolide™ is made from castor oil, which also ensures that it is made from a source free from genetically modified organisms (GMO), putting it in a revolutionary class of bio-based products. Its unique, fully saturated structure with protected ester bonds promotes enhanced stability of the molecule.
In addition to its enhanced stability, sustainability is another important aspect of this line, as its products are non-toxic, non-bioaccumulative (OECD 107), biodegradable (OECD 301) and derived from renewable sources (ranging from 69% to 95% based on ASTM D6866).
It has a negative carbon footprint in the production process, which reinforces its sustainability. This negative carbon footprint is due to the actions taken throughout its production process which minimize impacts, from raw material harvesting, manufacturing and handling to product distribution.
It is KOSHER, HALAL, VEGAN and USDA certified.
There are three different product presentations of grades 30, 250 and 1300 which offer differences in the viscosity of the products, with BioestolideTM 30 being the most fluid and BioestolideTM 1300 the most viscous. They are extremely versatile and bring several benefits to the formulations, such as a soft and pleasant sensation, hydration, shine, spreadability, SPF booster and more. In addition, they can be used in numerous cosmetic formulations, such as products for hair, skin, makeup, sun protection, etc.

BioEstolide™ 30 is the most fluid of the versions, providing a pleasant sensation with good spreadability and a lighter residual effect.

BioestolideTM 250 has a medium viscosity, giving it a soft and satiny feel in addition to good play time and spreadability.

DOWSIL™ PMX-1508 Fluid is a blend of high viscosity dimethiconol in a biodegradable and natural vehicle (C13-15 Alkane) for use in cosmetic formulations, providing the following benefits:
- Improved softness and spreadability on the skin
- No "tack" effect
- Good film formation
- Shine
- Increased natural content in the formulation
- 79% from natural ingredients
DOWSIL™ PMX-1508 fluid is easier to spread and less sticky before and after being absorbed by the skin.
In comparison with the other gums, the difference is in the active ingredients of each product and the volatility of the vehicle, which interact with the sensory profile.

INCI NAME: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose
CELLOSIZE™ HEC QP 100MH is a non-ionic, biodegradable, water-soluble rheology modifier made from natural ingredients that can thicken, suspend and enhance the sensory experience for hair and skin care applications.
It is presented as a powder that can be easily dispersed in aqueous systems and has a wide pH range.
