Water-borne Roof Coating

Roof coatings need to be tough and withstand year around conditions, no matter what mother nature brings. When you're given strict requirements, it makes it tough to formulate a coating that can maintain performance. Increase reflectivity, decrease energy costs, sustainable as roof coating can extend roof life instead of tear-off (creating landfill) and replace.

Dow

  • RHOPLEX™ EC-2020: APEO surfactant-free. Formaldehyde free. Provide a barrier to UV light, which rapidly degrades the surface of asphaltic materials. High solar reflectivity, which reduces roof surface temperatures, helping prolong roof life and reduce energy costs.Good adhesion to asphalt and foam substraits.
  • TAMOL™ 901: A low foam generator, excellent stability.

Solvay

  • Rhodoline® 622: Is effective over a wide pH range and is persistent when subjected to both high shear and high-temperature processing conditions for waterborne coatings production. It is not dispersible in water and should be used as received.

Ineos Pigments

  • RCL596: Opacity and UV durable whiteness. Superdurable product offering maximum chalk resistance, excellent gloss, and gloss retention balanced with high opacity and dispersibility. The high-performance titanium dioxide helps to reduce roof surface temperature, prolonging life and reducing energy costs

Zochem

  • Zoco 101: French process zinc oxide builds tensile strength of the roof coating.

Water-borne Industrial DTM Coating

Industrial coatings need to be durable and withstand some of the harshest conditions, so when you're challenged with being regulatory compliant, it can make formulating a challenge. Our assortment of low VOC and APEO-free additives are able to provide solutions to ensure your products maintain optimal performance while meeting regulatory requirements. When formulating high performing water-born industrial direct to metal coating, we recommend a number of products that provide excellent durability, adhesion, and corrosion resistance, creating a strong alternative to traditional solvent-based coatings.

Dow

  • MAINCOTE™ 5045: Low VOC formulations at 25 g/L or less. Low VOC can sometimes be soft and not as tough, however, this product offers excellent exterior durability and corrosion resistance, and ease of formulation with excellent paint stability.
  • MAINCOTE™ 4950: Low VOC formulations at 50 g/L or less. Usage for Industrial maintenance and commercial architectural Finishes for steel and concrete. Provide excellent corrosion resistance and hardness properties.
  • AVANSE™ 200: Low VOC formulas below 200 g/L. Self-cross linking polymer which can be formulated into corrosion-resistant primers, highly durable topcoats, and high-gloss direct to metal (DTM) finish.
