Reporting to our Director Global Trade Compliance, the Privacy Program Manager will be primarily responsible for ensuring the Company’s compliance with all relevant privacy laws and regulations. All privacy-related programs, projects and training will fall under this role. In addition, this role will work closely with our Legal Department teams.
Responsibilites
• Keep the Company up-to-date on various privacy laws, including but not limited to GDPR, LPPD, LGPD and CCPA and their developments. Design and maintain a privacy program and data protection system to ensure the Company is in compliance. Stay current on regional privacy laws on the horizon
• Design and maintain a training program and communication plan around privacy laws and data privacy issues. Maintain and keep current our privacy Sharepoint site and continually post current resource and educational materials
• Collaborate with and provide support to different departments on their projects and initiatives concerning current data protection issues. For example, collaborate with Human Resources and IT departments on how our PII is being handled, stored, and monitored.
• Maintain the Company’s Code of Conduct and help implement and administer annual training to ensure the company’s workforce understands its requirements
• Work with Data Protection Officers in each country to set up processes and standardize our data protection system
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree with an affinity for compliance related topics
- 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience
- Considerable knowledge and practical experience in the field of data protection management, data collection and processing and all privacy laws, including but not limited to GDPR, LPPD, LGPD and CCPA
