Product Manager – CASE- Plastic, Rubber and Additives

 

Reporting to the Regional Supplier Manager of CASE- Plastic, Rubber and Additives business, you will coordinate nationally the commercial actions and the management of product ranges in order to contribute to the achievement of the company's commercial objectives.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the development of existing ranges by having regular and effective contacts with suppliers / customers;
  • Strengthen supplier relationships to add value to the product range you will be responsible for;
  • Be a driving force in seeking out new suppliers and products in order to best meet our customers' needs and be the most competitive in the market; Ensure the increase of the gross margin through an efficient negotiation with suppliers/customers and the development of a sales strategy in line with market prices;
  • Ensure a stock management policy in line with the company's objectives and customers' expectations/needs;
  • Development of sales materials and catalogues;
  • Promote the visibility of our product ranges on the various digital media;
  • Supporting the sales and technical teams in developing sales;
  • Ensuring the updating of information collected from suppliers and the sales network and ensuring its processing and analysis.

 

Requirements and experience:

  • Master Degree in Chemistry or  similar discipline
  • A coating, construction and adhesives related experience or commercial/marketing/technical background (5 years of higher education).
  • Previous experience (1/3 years) in the coating, construction and adhesives industry, distribution or with a producer
  • You must be fluent in English
  • Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce (SFDC) software is a plus
  • You will be expected to travel occasionally in Europe.

 

You are rigorous and organized, you have analytical and synthesis skills and you have very good interpersonal skills.
