PhytoTrace™ Carrot is an extract made from the dried roots of organic carrots grown in the farm Earl de Liernes, in the village of Chateaudouble, France. The extraction eluent is an organic, deodorized sunflower oil. Carrot is an excellent SPF booster, antimicrobial and cell protector rich in carotenes and polyacetylenes. This product is certifiable to organic standards. PhytoTrace™ Carrot botanical extracts are obtained by maceration, a cold process that preserves heat-sensitive phytochemicals and renders extracts matching as best as possible the pool of phytochemicals in the plant. PhytoTrace™ Carrot macerate is made from crops sourced locally in Provence, France.
