Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective customer relationships and actively prospect to identify business opportunities as well as maintain and sustain existing accounts;
  • Drive revenue and profit growth with our strategic accounts;
  • Negotiate prices and volumes with the customers and keeps the economic/financial situation of customers under control;
  • Consider competitors strategies, maintain a competitive advantage and increase market share;
  • Maintains a constant exchange of information with Customer Service team and collaborates with Product Managers in gaining knowledge of the market and in particular of the products used by customers, identifying quantities, prices and competition.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date;

 

Who are we looking for:

  • Technical and Commercial experience in industrial and specialty chemicals distribution (especially leather and textile specialties)
  • Chemical / scientific background (degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar) .
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken);
  • Good communication and strong negotiation skills;
  • Strong motivation, willingness to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness and ability to work in a local and international context
  • Strong orientation towards the achievement of results and excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to work by priority
  • Willingness to travel

 

Working method:

    • Visits Customers in own area independently or jointly with Sales Manager, suppliers and Product Managers.
    • Develops the number of Customers and increases, in terms of sales and promotion, the number of products per Customer
    • Manages the Annual Sales Plan (Budget)
    • Utilizes CRM-Salesforce and all other company tools in all their functions
    • Performs proper customer segmentation following company policies
