Univar Solutions is aware of a fraud scam involving fake request for quote (RFQ) messages. These fraudsters send fake RFQ messages that appear to originate from Univar Solutions. Responding businesses are corresponded with over email by people who are impersonating actual Univar Solutions executives. Please be advised that these RFQ messages, communications and impersonations are illegitimate and fraudulent. All RFQ messages from Univar Solutions employees come from an “@univarsolutions.com” email address. Additionally, all Univar Solutions RFQ messages follow a thorough process, that could include follow-up telephone discussions and even in-person meetings.
