Territory/Customer portfolio Planning Have full knowledge of sales opportunities in the territory/customer portfolio. Have a clear view of what needs to be targeted to maintain or gain market share based on the delivery of the budget as a minimum. Identify and establish the required call rates needed to guarantee sales or phone calls for each customer set against potential or customer segmentation Group customers into intelligent Areas, so that selling time can be planned to be time efficient, supported by an effective planning pattern anticipated to achieve the required results. Measure own Sales KPIs to ensure activity rate sufficient to achieve their part of coverage and budget. Highlight as soon as possible any issues preventing targets from being achieved and make corrective plans against such issues. Forward Plans Prepare and submit to the area BDM a Forward Plan. This Forward Plan is the way a territory/customer portfolio Plan is converted into realistic action plan. Call or Visit Reporting Calls/Visits will be reported in Salesforce, reflecting full detail of the outcome of the call/visit within five days from the date the call was made. Assessments and Accompanied Field Visits Use visits with BDM or Mentor to identify training needs. Raise organizational issues that reduce their effectiveness. Use and enjoy the Coaching sessions to enhance capabilities skills and performance Financial Management Liaise with the CSR to ensure that the Finance Department liberates diligently the password of customer orders in case of credit issues Experience with Credit Control Department Proactive approach in account payable incidents with customers Actively seek information about the customer’s financial situation Sample Management Efficient request and use of samples, requesting those through the appropriate IPP. General: Compliance to all Company procedures and legislative requirements. Adherence to Univar Three Principles: Commercial Greatness, Operational Excellence and ONE Univar. |

- Well organized with good time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a heavy workload

- Experience in a commercial environment providing good customer service
- Experience in International context would be a plus
- Technical/Science educational background
- Upper-intermediate English level (Written & spoken)
- Good computer skills (CRM, Excel, PowerPoint) (Senior: Excellent)
- High level of presentation skills.
Education/experience:
- Technical / Science Educational background
- Minimum 2 years Sales experience
- Experience in Plastic Additives desirable (pigments/ PVC additives...)
- Experience in a commercial environment providing good customer service
- Experience in International context would be a plus
